I hope this is the kind of world my daughter will one day see; peaceful, at peace, a green and beautiful Earth, beneath a bright and fearless sky, surrounded by people who build bridges instead of walls. I hope that one day my daughter’s little feet will walk upon a land where war is something she has only read about in books, not something she has seen in people’s eyes. A world where trees are given the chance to grow, rivers can flow freely, and children can simply be children, without fear. Maybe our part in creating such a future is small, but I want to believe that every day, in whatever way I can, I can add even a little bit of peace to this world.
