Blood cannot be made. No factory. No laboratory. No substitute. Only human generosity. I had the idea for this piece during one of my walks down the beach. I saw all the beauties around me, I also noticed the foam made by the waves when they touched my feet, they had the same shape I usually use as a signature for my works (the little Lines), it was special to notice them - something I had never thought of, I "grabbed them", they're the "canga" (towel) the person in the piece is holding in joy. "How precious life is in its' simplicity and how little it takes to donate, saving a life or making it better! Maybe gifting special moments like this."
