One month Until Tezcon (Piano Improvisation)

One month Until Tezcon (Piano Improvisation)

One month until Tezcon - the time sure does fly, doesn't it? Thought we gave ourselves a lot of time this year but it's almost already here. These are pretty strange times for me - I just moved to Seattle so I'm still getting used to the new environment - I was going out a lot when I first moved here but lately I've been mostly just staying in and working on my art and staying involved with the Tezos community as much as I can. It's become my "bubble" of sorts where people are actually trying to strive towards better things - been realizing how rare that sort of thing really is, especially these days where everyone is trying to turn back the clock. In regards to what's happening outside of my bubble - housing, politics, economics, the rise of China, and the downfall of the US dollar I all predicted years ago, and things are turning out pretty much how I thought it would - at least as far as general trends go. Nothing happening now is of any surprise - although you can never really predict all of the details and lengths people go through to maintain their sense of "normalcy", even if it no longer makes any sense. I think it's safe to say that we're witnessing an end of an era, at the very least. The effects and impact from things happening now will likely show up during this summer - right around the same time as Tezcon, I'm guessing. Everything always happens all at once, doesn't it? The things I'm working on now are making steady progress - probably not as fast as we'd like, but we're doing everything the right way, and it should at least be functional by the time we're ready to show it to people. Will people care? Is it too late? More than anything - if I want to make my lifestyle sustainable, that belief in the "better" needs to come back again. There's a side of me that really just wants to get a "regular" job and settle into something more stable since that seems a lot less stressful. I never minded working, honestly - and the camaraderie you share with your co-workers and teamcan be pretty nice, too. But something was calling for me to do what I'm doing now - I need to see this through or I would never forgive myself, I think.
