We take privacy seriously - and we keep it simple.
No database. We don't store your personal information on our servers.
No login. We don't create accounts, so there's nothing to hack or steal.
No tracking. We don't use analytics, fingerprinting, or any form of user surveillance.
No cookies. This site sets zero cookies - not even “necessary” ones.
What happens on-chain stays on-chain. Any data you write to the blockchain becomes public, immutable, and permanent - that's how the technology works. Please do not share anything you wish to keep private.
What stays in your browser stays in your browser. We use client-side processing only. Any inputs, preferences, or temporary state live in your local browser memory and are never transmitted to us.
Third-party services. We do not sell, share, or trade your data with anyone. We do not use third-party analytics, ads, or embedded tracking scripts.
We call it a radio for the shape of the experience, not for how it works.
It is a playlist, played privately. The radio gathers audio minted on Teia into a list, and your own browser plays it for you, one track at a time. There is no schedule and no station: what you hear is a list, not a transmission.
Playing it in public changes that. The moment this music is played in a public or commercial setting - a shop, a bar, an office, an event - it stops being private listening and becomes a public performance, which is what most people mean by a broadcast. Artists set those permissions themselves when they register a work, so you can check the terms and secure broadcasting rights at teia.art/copyrightmarketplace.
The works belong to their artists. Teia's collection is managed by the Teia DAO, not by teia.cafe. For more information, see teia.art/wiki.
