stereohopper (?-2026) - The Lost Album I was the biggest fan of stereohopper's music - as soon as I knew of his existence I think I bought basically every single thing that he made - and being insanely prolific as he was, that alone wasn't an easy task. 😂 I never liked the term "collector" and never really considered myself as such. I was just a fan of his music, nothing more, nothing less. Eventually we started talking and became good friends, at least online. One day, out of the blue, he surprised me by sending me AN ENTIRE ALBUM of music just as a thanks for support. I was blown away - especially at the quality of the music on it and how quickly he got it out. Some artists are just so connected to their work that there is no separation with their work and just living life. He was definitely one of those genius types that embodied what art really was about. So I've had this album sitting around for a while, mostly for my private enjoyment. He told me I can do whatever I wanted with it - even threw in teia.cafe's branding onto an album cover that was created by early-gen AI. (You know, the ones with the weird limbs and, uh, surrealist - in its aesthetic. 🫠) Now that the curation system on TEIA is online, I think it's ready for the public to hear his music one more time. He entrusted me with his work, and I feel somewhat responsible to make sure it gets out there in the form that it deserves. So here it is - I hope people enjoy. Showing these works in public? Collecting a piece, or curating it, does not by itself give you the right to display it publicly or to use it commercially - a gallery wall, a venue, a screening, a stream, anything with an audience or a price on the door needs display rights from the artist. Private viewing is fine: look at what you own, or what you have curated, as much as you like. Rights for the rest are what our copyright marketplace is for - every licence artists have registered on-chain, and what each one lets you do.
