When I was working in Silicon Valley some years ago, I spent a few years making video game soundtracks and music/radio mods for popular games at the time, under the name "Ambient Jams". Most of these mods are deprecated at this point but these works are probably the ones where I got the most traction at the time - many of these tracks are *very long*, on purpose, because the idea was to give the player more music than they were likely to be even be there in one sitting (20+ mins per track). Most places these days rely on generative content to "fill" these spaces but these tracks were created with the idea of maintaining the momentum of the music at every moment in time. While niche, I did have a fan-base of my works back then and I kept it going as long as I could - but the monetization side was a challenge because you were at the whim of the game's update schedule and the lack of standardization and licensing options made it difficult to justify continuing over time. I still get requests for my Rimworld mod asking to update it to the latest version, but alas - it's just too much work for too little pay, sorry. In a lot of ways, these tracks are the reason why I got into NFTs and started going down that path over time - it seemed to be the place where a lot of the problems I was facing with my music could be addressed. And I'm still on that path, even today.
Prices in a curation are set by the curator and can differ from what the same work lists for elsewhere. Buying through a curation is coming soon.
Showing these works in public? Collecting a piece, or curating it, does not by itself give you the right to display it publicly or to use it commercially - a gallery wall, a venue, a screening, a stream, anything with an audience or a price on the door needs display rights from the artist. Private viewing is fine: look at what you own, or what you have curated, as much as you like. Rights for the rest are what our copyright marketplace is for - every licence artists have registered on-chain, and what each one lets you do.
