Ben Affleck and PewDiePie have been getting a lot of attention for their AI projects - which are tuned to solving problems for creatives - rather than adding more to it.
If you look at the history of tech/art as a whole, though, artists have always been at the forefront of new technologies, and this time is no different - even the crypto craze a few years ago was triggered by NFTs - which artists were largely responsible for popularizing into the mainstream.
But the details do matter. Both technologies are the most powerful when they're used to solve administrative problems - not creative problems - which has long been a problem, even before.
If you let the blockchain do the accounting, AI do the processing, you can get powerful results, while also allowing creatives to be empowered to do what they do best. I do think this is the trend we'll start seeing more commonly going forward - it's just history repeating itself, after all.
