Bamboo is deeply woven into India's cultural, economic, and environmental fabric. Traditionally, bamboo has played a role in everything from construction and toolmaking to artistic expression. 

I minted this image for the #9nights event, celebrating the 9 days of festivities called Navaratri or Navratri (nine nights). Night 2 is for the color green or the theme of serenity.
